hi there, i've been googling around trying to find out answers about my recently purchased Canon FTb which i won on ebay. I was assured that she was only selling because she was saving for a digital SLR. i have changed the battrey in the camera and there is no 'life'! To my annoiance.
I have been reading snippets that the FTb can still expose photos without the battery power. Could you please explain? i'm gutted i can't get snapping pronto!
thanks, amie price.
p.s. could you please rsvp via email as i'm not sure how to work this site (haha) thanks... a.price@2007.ljmu.ac.uk

"Launching". Hi Dave, a great piece of skill here, a fine boat. Best regards, Pete.

Hi Dave
On the subject of canals - this site is following the build of a new narrowboat.

Hi Dave,
Had a few people interested in the canals in the UK so I've re-written my Journal item. It's much longer now and covers a lot more detail. http://journals.fotki.com/Wyeman/Canals/

I hope it's of interest.
Peter.

Hello Dave,
Enjoyed your albums, thanks for sharing. May I ask a question? In 2002 you took a trip to the Towpath. May I ask what the Towpath is?
In the UK it's the path beside the canal where the horse used to walk, pulling the canal boats.

Dave,
I lived at Fort Knox and worked in Louisville from 1988 to 1992. I learned to love the place. Your photos bring back great memories!

Dave,
Thanks for the response. I am not familiar with the location but I'm sure I can find the park now that I have a name.
Thanks again,
John Hoffner

Can you please tell me where the Kentucy insane asylum is located. I never thought I would have need to ask that question before. But my wife and I would like to drive there for the day just to bum around.
Thanks,
John

You have some really nice photos here. I wanted to come here and comment on your "thing 2" folder how it was so sweet, but then I thought I'd just check out your Buffalo folder first and ended up seeing so many bright beautiful faces that it made me smile. I don't know which of your albums I like more because I see so much character in each of your photos, it's almost like it were me standing there enjoying the moments. You've done a nice job making your photos come alive.

Thanks for sharing. I liked Oscar's file. I have two Mini Dacshunds. And I enjoyed the Asylum folder. Creepy but I would like to see the place. As a kid we used to trek in the country by where I live to see stuff like this. And it was always a rush.
Thanks,
John
